Benefits Specialist

This front line position is responsible for day-to-day administration of benefit plans, acting as a resource for all Benefits related issues for employees and supervisors for multi-states within a 2,500 employee base. Will act as a liaison between providers and employees to resolve issues and administer benefit programs including fully and partially insured medical and dental and Voluntary Accidental/Life, FMLA, 401(k), Cafeteria 125, Flexible Spending Plans and COBRA/HIPPA. Will reconcile and process all benefit invoices, compile and maintain employee files and assist in coordinating annual open enrollment for benefits, 5500 audits and 401(k) discrimination testing. Requirements include a minimum of 2 or more years experience. Knowledge of federal/state laws (FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA). Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable and preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with solid experience in payroll and HR administration who wants to step up to a full service position. The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
