WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 11, 2004
Air Transport World magazine announces a new aviation jobs website that does business the way aviation recruiters do it. www.Careers.aero is a partnership between Careers LLC and Air Transport World, the magazine of airline management.
The new service's database contains "the most aviation jobs on the Internet" and lists jobs for "all career paths in the industry," including pilots, cabin crew, mechanics, dispatchers, customer service, ramp agents, and management, says Scott Hawkins, Careers LLC Managing Director.
"We are really excited to add this new dimension to the ATWOnline website," says ATW Publisher Bill Freeman. "It provides more functionality and enables us to continue to supply valuable information to our users, keeping ATWOnline.com ahead of the pack."
Simplicity, ease of use and carefully targeted results are Careers.Aero's hallmark, says Hawkins. The service specializes in aviation job announcements, personal resume development, transmitting resumes to aviation recruiters and aviation employment news.
Posting job announcements "couldn't be easier" for recruiters, says Hawkins. They either can click on the 'Announce A Job' link on the website, www.atwonline.com/careers, or e-mail the job and contact information to jobs@careers.aero. No logins or passwords are required and there is no charge for job postings.
After subscribing to the service, job seekers can post their custom resumes, an optional personal resume and an optional photo to the site's database. They are notified by e-mail whenever new jobs are posted or can peruse the job listings on the website. When they see a job in which they are interested, they click the 'Apply' link and their resume goes immediately to the recruiter who posted the job by the recruiter's choice of e-mail or fax.
Careers.Aero currently is offering a seven-day free trial of the service. Hawkins points out that unlike many trial offers, the Careers.Aero free trial "is not limited in any way." Subscribers will receive every job listing by e-mail and will have "complete and unlimited access to our job advertisement database."
After the free trial expires, subscribers can sign up to continue the service for a $15 activation fee and a monthly fee of $12 for a basic subscription or $15 if the optional resume and photo are included.
